What is City On A Hill?

Matthew 5:14: "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden."

In Carroll County, the Body of Christ has been uniting together in prayer, fasting, worship, and outreach. On October 5th, 2024 the church of Carroll County will unite as an expression of God's heartbeat - one City On A Hill. Join us for a day of prayer, worship, and unity. We invite every Christian in Carroll County to glorify the Lord through our oneness with the Father and with each other in prayer and worship.

Call to Action

We are partnering with churches, municipalities, and nonprofits to unite the Body of Christ in our community in contending to see every child's needs met in our county. During City On A Hill, we will hear from local organizations and receive a call to action to BE THE CHURCH and BE THE LIGHT to the children in need in our area. We, as the Body of Christ, can transform our county by simply being doers of the Word, as we open our churches, homes, and hearts to living out James 1:27: "Pure and faultless religion is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

The Heart of City On A Hill

John 17:21: "That all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in Us so that the world may believe that You have sent Me."

Jesus' prayer in John 17:21 calls for unity among believers and with the Father. This unity can transform our communities. When Jesus is lifted up by the unified believers of an area, worship becomes an outflow of surrendered lives, prayer is fervent, denominational divides dissolve, and families are strengthened. This oneness with God and fellow believers is the heartbeat of "City On A Hill."

Registration Gift

Individuals who pre-register will receive a free gift at the event. Churches that pre-register will get a 20% discount on merchandise and promotional materials and a digital promotion package to share the event.
