American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls 5 to 18 years of age. AHG is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.

Safe Families for Children brings the church and community together to provide supportive relationships to socially-isolated families in crisis. We serve these families primarily through volunteers temporarily hosting a vulnerable child to provide a safe place to stay while parents get back on their feet. We long to keep children safe and families together in our community and need more volunteers who are willing to engage in friendship with these struggling families. Whether you want to help with transportation, mentor a struggling mom, babysit a child, or become a host family, we would greatly appreciate your involvement.

Needs: Adult Volunteers

Carroll County Youth Mentoring serves students in both Carroll County School Corporations by matching a trusted adult with a student with untapped potential. Mentors are asked to dedicate one lunch per week to visit the student at school. Mentors are not tutors, disciplinarians, or require any special skills. You are asked to visit with a student, play a game or simply talk. The main requirement is consistency and friendship. Mentors will receive training, have monthly support sessions with other mentors, and most likely gain more from the experience than the students. The mentor can choose to participate in either Carroll Consolidated or Delphi Schools. A background check and interview will be conducted prior to being placed with a student. Students are chosen by their teachers and guidance department.

Carroll-White CASA is a Volunteer program designed to provide advocacy to children involved in cases involving DCS and the court system.

URYC is a non-profit entity dedicated to making a difference in our community one youth at a time. The Upper Room’s primary focus is to offer a high-quality youth center that provides a safe environment after school where youth in grades 6-12 can receive the tools necessary for them to grow and succeed. Working together to build a better future for young people and positively impact the course of their lives is our vision. The Upper Room staff and volunteers are community members, pastors, teachers, business owners, retirees, grandparents, and high school students dedicated to nurturing positive relationships and promoting acceptance while meeting the social and emotional needs of the youth while simultaneously supplementing academic needs in the way of homework help. By its very design, Upper Room Youth Center utilizes as many wrap-around services as possible to positively impact as many youth each year as it can. In part, URYC creates life-changing opportunities for young people by providing stability and support on a daily basis. This includes building and fostering relationships with positive role models and an exposure to a wide variety of programming, life skills, and experiences for everyone who walks through the doors .

Immerse Ministries is an organization dedicated to standing alongside the Body Of Christ to help see an awakening of unity, prayer, worship, and discipleship in our communities. Immerse partners with churches to reach every home in each community with door-to-door evangelism.
